Fugitive Bobby Smith captured this morning December 9, 2013
Poor Billyboob. At it again. I've said it before, yall. You can't win them all. Don't waste your breath arguing with him. There will come a day when he will call upon the name of the Lord, perhaps on his deathbed. All we can do is pray for his soul.
Hilarious article, as usual. And we still sit "Indian style" at my house. LOL
Bahahahaha! Now THAT is funny! Thanks, Jacob. You made my day!
I give up! We, those of us without our rose-colored glasses, should just hand it all over to these idiots at the DCSS and let them implode from within. Most of us have moved over to a different county or chosed private schools already. Let them keep patting themselves on the back and stroking each others egos on what a good job they are all doing for the children. But you reap what you sow and bad seeds grow bad crops. Keep your crop in your county when that time comes. Don't think you can then spread out and ruin the surrounding areas with your under-educated, cheating, lying, conniving off-spring, since that is the examples being set for all of them, bless their little hearts!
I agree about the children! And as far as their customer service goes, Vinnies daughter was always very attentive, but the rest of the wait staff up there could barely muster a smile.
I applaud Mr. Taylor for at least trying to come up with a solution. But we can't make this a "punish them all for the few who screwed it up" situation. I am the parent of three children, ages 21, 18 and 11. My 21 and 18 year old (the 11 year old doesnt count in this situation as she is with me always) are well behaved young adults. The 21 year old is married and has a child. With this solution they would not be able to be out past 6:00, well before dusk, unless I changed MY plans and went to an event downtown that I necessarily don't want to attend, just to babysit them. Yet everyday of their lives, they do things without my supervision. They work, go to school, go to the mall, go to Target/Walmart, go to the movies, and the list goes on and on. This just makes no sense. And what about college students whose parents live out of state? I say 16 and under need adult supervision, but it should stop there. Keep trying, Mr. Taylor. You are on the right track, but we now need plan B.
I patronized that business alot in the beginning, but about 4 months ago when I went in, they had changed things drastically. They took away the lunch buffet because they said they were tired of seeing wasted food people got off the buffet then didnt eat. They said parents would let their children get too much off the bar and then not eat it all. That just comes with the territory of having a buffet. Then the changed their bread for their subs. It was horrible (something about buying the wrong kind of flour but using it anyway!) Their subs used to be full of deli meat, cheese, veggies and italian dressing. The last time I ate their I had 3 slices of meat (and I could tell it wasnt deli meat. It was lunchmeat from a grocery store), very little veggies, etc. I was so disappointed because I really rooted for them. You cant sacrifice the quality food you started with just to save a buck.
Sounds like Mitt has had a recent visit to South Georgia, where those figures sound about right. His comments can easily be taken out of context when the clips are chosen specifically for the media to stir things up. The way I take it is, he is aware that most all of those folks with the entitlement mentality are going to vote for Obama no matter what Mitt Romney says. So in order to try to secure a win, he has to stop trying so hard to change the minds of that group of people (because you never will) and concentrate on other groups. I see nothing wrong with his statement. I have always said if Obama and some of those other folks up in Washington had to live down south for awhile, their eyes would be open alot more than what they are right now.
I'm glad these folks are off the streets, but it worries me that this witness didn't have all the facts when he called it in as a robbery, prompting a police chase with all of these cars from all of these agencies. Over a bag of Chex Mix and "possibly" some shirts and underwear? Don't get me wrong, they were deserving of jail, but folks have to be careful when they try to play police.
Well, if they are county employees, then I guess they would, just like all the rest. Duh!
