People will find a reason to complain no matter what. Let's just say they accepted the 3rd lowest bid which was LRA here in Albany. Then, there would be comments on here about how they are not spending taxpayers money wisely. I say this, competition is tough. And taxpayers should not be penalized because a company put a higher bid together. Maybe the owners of LRA had to bid a higher price because they want to drive a nicer car, or have a nicer house, or have a beach house or 2. I don't think it's fair for the taxpayers to pay a higher price because these people can't manage their business and remain competitive. My theory, stay competitive and put your money where your mouth is.
