Good Luck to this young man. He sounds like a great kid!
In a print newspaper, the more letters there are in the title, the smaller the font will be. I don't think there is anything wrong with calling it Easter Day.
At least they called it Easter
I am not a crony of anyone in the Chamber. I don't even know any of them and I am not a member. I am smart enough to understand that they are a PRIVATE organization, and that the taxpayers have no say in their operation or their salary structure. They can pay whatever they want. The city may give them money to fund certain programs, but the city has no say in their hiring or fiiring practices.
The Chamber of Commerce is not a government organization. It is funded by members. What does it matter what they are paid. Unless you are a member, you have no say in how much the officers are paid.
Go MiMi! Keep up the good work.
Also, how did this get chosen as the squawk of the day????
As a parent of several recent Sherwood graduates, I doubt this will have much impact on Sherwood enrollment. Deerfield is faced with a tough decision, mainly due to lack of competition in GISA. Sherwood is a smaller school with several other similar sized schools within reasonable driving distance. Sherwood will lose a crosstown rival who has almost always dominated them (If Deerfield) leaves GISA, but I doubt it will have much of an impact on people's decision in choosing a school.
Deerfield has a tough decision....I hope whatever they choose works out for them.
Great News! I hope Tony has another great season!
ROFL (Rolling on the floor laughing)
Barry, that was just funny. I am in between the 65+ crowd and the texting crowd and Ijust loved it!
Georgia already has more counties than any other state than Texas. We do not need more counties. It is also amazing to me that a major city is split into two counties, and then you have city schools and county schools......
