Right on, Thurman, I've worked near these mats myself. They are very large and should never be stored upright. It's just too dangerous. Then too, students should never be left alone in unsupervised areas. No matter the age, students should never be left alone. This is so tragic. Hopefully, this tragedy will bring light to the importance of staff knowing the wheareabouts of students at all times. There's no room for excuses when it comes to students' safety.

Ryan is a liar. He did more than stretch the truth. I'm afraid of such a liar. If a person lies, s/he will steal. If he wins, he will steal from the elderly and the poor. Has this man no shame? Does he not realize the lies he told on President Obama can be checked out. Lie: President Obama is the "greatest threat" to Medicare. Truth: Obama didn't make any cuts to Medicare benefits. Ryan actually does want to cut benefits. He proposed dismantling Medicare and replacing it with a voucher system, leaving millions of seniors to come up with more money to pay for care out of pocket. Lie: President Obama didn't save a General Motors plant in Wisconsin. Truth: First, Obama wasn't even in office when the GM plant closed. Second, Obama never made a promise to save it. Lie: President Obama ignored recommendations of a bipartisan debt commission.Truth: Paul Ryan actually sat on that commission. And he led Republicans in voting down the commission's own recommendation. So the commission never gave a report to Obama, because Ryan himself voted to kill the report before it could. Lie: Ryan wants to protect the "weak." Truth: Ryan's biggest feat in his political career was proposing a budget with dramatic cuts to programs benefiting the poor. He'd cut Medicaid by one third, take away health care insurance from 30 million Americans, and cut Pell Grants for 1 million students. All so that he could give more tax breaks to the rich.

Eastwood didn't hurt the campaigne any more than Ryan already had with all the lies he told on President Obama. Ryan is just another kind of Palin, but where she was ignorant, he is a liar. Eastwood's talking to an empty chair was somewhat of what is called a Freudian slip. It means that a person mistakenly says or acts out his or her true feelings. Eastwood was acting out his subconcious belief that the words of Romney and Ryan are falling on deaf ears. Nobody is listening to all those contradictions and lies. Did you notice out disturbed the Romney's and Ryan's looked? A Freudian slip is never pleasant to hear. It's a mistake, or should I say a misspeech. I have always taken Eastwood to be a sound and good-natured man. Maybe, it wasn't a mistake at all. Maybe there was "method to his madness." An actor and one of the best.

It's time to call Sally Whatley out for the corrupt superintendent she was. She hired all those incompetent principals and gave them a greenlight to do everything but educate our children. I heard a white man say that slaves are like little children. You have to guide them. They can't think for themselves. As much as I hate this kind of talk, I have to admit that it holds a little truth. These slave principals didn't know how to run their schools so they took all their cues from their currupt superintendent who ultimately led them to the slaughter, but some of them were able to escape. But they ought to learn a lesson from this. Just try really hard to make a real difference in your schools. Practice servant leadership. Serve your students, teachers, parents, and the community. Don't take your position to mean that you can harrass teachers and not be held accountable. This is what you learned from Sally Whatley. Just try to be your own man or woman and change folk's minds about you. You didn't spend all those years in college for nothing.

As long as Sally Whatley, Tommy Coleman, and John Culbreath are still running things, these people will get off. All three are corrupt. Sally Whatley should be on trial too. She knew and probably encouraged it. Coleman doesn't care about poor black children. He just wants his millions while these children miss out on an opportunity to have a decent life. Culbreath is so disillusioned that he's just glad to be mentioned in the same sentence with Whatley and Coleman. Parents have to demand better for their children. Their children are not someone's "babies" that people can toy with and cheat out of an education. They are the teachers' students and their parents' babies. Don't mess over my child and call her baby while you're doing it. If it was your "baby" wouldn't you want the teacher to teach them and not cheat them? Shame on Sally Whatley, Tommy Coleman, and John Culbreath. More shame on Culbreath because he's cheating his own people out of an education.

You don't really mean that I'm stupid. You're annoyed by my words because they speak some truth that you don't want to have to accept. Do you know what happens to a person when he lives a life of denial and buries his head in the sand? He ceases to exist because in the real world we have to accept truths and changes. Many of you embrace a period in the past that is no longer relevant. That's when and where you lives ended. Everyone else moved on.

I know I'm not perfect. I suspect you aren't either. So how can you point your finger at another. God will judge us all. "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge,ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerate not the beam that is in thine own eye." Matthew 7: 1-5

The Civil War was not fought to free the slaves. Abolition came as a consequence. President Lincoln did not want the Union to come apart under his administration. When South Carolina threatened to secede, he promised them they could continue slavery as long as they didn't secede. Laws like Affirmative action didn't just come out of the goodness of some people's hearts. Blacks fought and died for these laws. If blacks hadn't, they would never have gotten them. Besides, noone had to deny his own race to pass these laws. Whites didn't lose anything because blacks got them. These laws were passed to give opportunity to qualified blacks, not to take anything from whites.

Biology is not the only factor that determines the genetic make up of a race of people. Environmental factors do so as well. People absorb their environment, and it happens long enough, the environment will become a factor of their genetic propensities. The suffering that slaves endured for years caused them to develop a biological tolerance for it which resulted in a tremendous strenght, the strenght to overcome anything except death itself. It takes this kind of strenght to deny one's own race for the greater good. I haven't seen this kind of strenght in whites. Blacks like justice more than anything else becuase of their suffering. That's why many vote for Dr. Price. It wasn't becuse she's white. They felt that it was the just and right thing to do under the circumstances (board's problems).
