He may have. After all it does take a certain degree of intelligence to con the system. It's not likely that he picked that up in the Dougherty county school system.

The day I got my first weekly allowance for doing my chores, was my first lesson in economics. Why is it so hard for our leaders, of all people who by the way claim to have a college degree to understand that you can't spend more than you bring in. If I were to try to pass a bad check, I would be arrested as would most anyone else. Start holding those accountable that fail to uphold their end of the bargain.

I'm glad this came to the light. Now, if the DCSS would follow suit they may be able to turn things around and actually start educating their students.

In Valley Alabama a few years ago, an elderly lady who lived there her entire life, went out for her evening walk like she did every evening. Minding her own business, less than a block away from her house, she was attacked and killed by a pit bull. Kids are not the only ones at risk here. I love dogs myself and have personally never had a bad experience with a pit, but I do know they have a track record.

I was on West Gordon some time ago and noticed a pit bull in a back yard chained to cinder blocks with a young man in the yard as well. I stopped and told the young man that if that dog was still chained to those blocks when I came back by, that I was going to call the police. Forty five minutes later I rolled back by and neither the dog nor that boy was anywhere around but the cinder blocks still were. Apparently he got the message.

A lot of folks want to make things legal or illegal, only when it's beneficial to them. For now, pot is illegal in Georgia, deal with it.

I saw a documentary on TV recently that claimed the baggy pants trend began in San Quentin prison. It's meant to signify that you're a sissy and that you're "available " to the other sissies in exchange for putting some money on their books. If that's true, then we have a bunch of lulu's walking around amongst us. No wonder they hang out together in dark places. The baby mama's are used to ensure that the food stamps keep rolling in, and their buddies, well, you're going to have to use your imagination.
