Encounter helps erase years of bigotry
We were all black once (well for those of you who believe in science). The oppression and hatred is not gone from SWGA; the klan is still present. It is not white guilt; it is a biased history. We are taught that blacks were slaves and hated by all; we are not taught about rebel blacks who fought for dixie; we are not taught that Ohio was (and still is by many) considered a dixie state. This is still the history our children are taught.
We were not taught about dixie whites who fought for the union; we were all taught a white laced, white male history. This is not a judgment; it is the reality.

Incarceration is a great way to keep them from the polls. The incarcerated cannot vote until completely clear of all probation and parole. They automatically get the right back but they have to re-register.

This is the comment that I was waiting for. A concise summary of the intolerance, bigotry, and pure hatred that emanates the true Albany citizen.
The rise of the right wing Neo-Nazi, KKK groups are revving up for demonstrations. I am sure the poster of the original squawk is busy bleaching his white sheet. (Notice that demonstration starts with demon.)
I cannot believe (well, actually I do because this is SWGA) that the person responsible for choosing the squawk to go online chose this one. There are two options: the person agrees with the comment or the person wanted interaction.
I will be leaving the area; as a white person, I feel the ethnic and religious oppression. My parents raised me better than to hate; I do not treat anyone badly. When a person treats me badly, i turn the other cheek and occupy my time with doing good and thinking good. No hate.
