what a counterintuitve babbling idiot...he just proved what all pro-gun people have been saying..."Assualt Weapons" are not the guns used in the vast majority of crimes or are they the weapon of choice for most criminals for some of the exact reasons he has given. I would also imagine it is not legal to fire warning shots in Delaware (I could be wrong), but this is not legal in most areas. If this is the kind of speech and dialect he is using to try to convince congress to put in stronger gun control, I DON"T THINK WE HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!!

Ed - "anti-Washington" really. Your still giving power to a Government and taking it away from the people. I hope that is not to hard for you to understand. Attitudes like this from politicians is what makes people anti-Government! The bill you are proposing would give the Government authority to condemn and confiscate your personal property if they felt like a service of the Hospital was needed in that location. Stop bowing to the dollar bill and please start truly representing your constituents!

I think Dr. Parker is the reason Albany Tech has grown and flourished over the past several years...his take on this is refreshingly budget-minded ("if the state can afford it"). This is the attitude that all of our leaders need to take...no sense of entitlement at this institute! Thanks Dr. Parker!

Library Board votes to re-bid main library renovations

The board met at the "Northwest Branch Library", a project very recently designed and built by two very qualified local firms. It's very alarming that our leadership thinks it needs help from outside of our community to renovate a little ole library, especially when SPLOST funds are involved and there are people in our community that are very qualified to do the work.
