The solution here is simple. If you don't like DWS's decision to not move to GHSA, send your kids to Westover, or Albany High, or Monroe, or Lee County (or another High School in the area) so they can complete against some of the best athletes in the area.

I don't doubt Ms. Miller is trying to impact young people in our community, which should be applauded. They need all the help they can get. I did run this non-profit through the website I use to verify non-profits and view their form 990. Searching the name, her name, and manually searching through the 764 non-profits in Albany turned up nothing under that name. Based on the article above, I get the impression that this organization was created 2 years ago, which means it should be listed. I hope the Herald did their homework here.

Not seeing how this "Bright" fits the intended purpose of the column. Sounds more like a squawk.

If this is the same study I read about yesterday, one of the main factors was the amount of profanity in public tweets that had the location tagged to it. Aren't we also #2 in music piracy in the country also? Coincidence?

"We live in an area that's wooded and secluded," Biden said. "I said, Jill, if there's ever a problem just walk out on the balcony here ... put that double-barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house."

Glad to see that the second in command of the United States is advocating proper firearm usage. Mr. Biden obviously wants to get his wife killed.

If churches taught stewardship of the body as they should, grants like this would be irrelevant. $17k in grants divided up among 5 churches comes out to just over 3k per grant. Hopefully they will make a deliberate effort to involve their neighborhoods and communities. I still can't get past the wreaking stench of this, though. But at least it appears it's private money and not Albany's tax dollars at work.

It honestly wouldn't disappoint me in the least if "the business" made it a point to publicly humiliate people who drive under the influence. I wish I could read articles including pictures of deadbeat parents who don't pay child support, and people who are costing the local government money by not paying their bills.

Consultants can be a great asset if you do your homework and get consultants who were actually successful in the field they are now consulting in.
