Wow.... you obviously have never hunted with any dogs. Any lap dog worth its salt will behave within a few feet of you. That's easy to train. On the other hand, getting a high-motor hunting dog in pursuit of wounded game at 100 yards or more away from you to follow commands is a different story. But hey, I'm glad your lap dog is that well behaved.
Yes, something MUST be done about the weather. Far too many people die from excessive heat and excessive cold. EXTREME TEMPERATURES MUST BE STOPPED!!!
Hopefully, he'll put a ban on temperatures fluctuating more than 10 degrees from day to day. All this mess of being 80 one day and 40 the next wreaks havoc on my sinuses.
I applaud their efforts, and the Mayor's vision. I would, however, like to read how she plans to end homelessness in Albany in the next 10 years. That's VERY ambitious, in my opinion.
A friend of mine who owns a gas station told me (a few years ago) that the wholesalers set the gas prices, and that he had no control over it, except for his full-service fee (full service gas station). I'm not sure station owners are where fingers should be pointed.
Drugs have been made illegal, and bad guys still make/sell/use them. Laws have done a great job controlling the problem (sarcasm). In regards to guns, bad guys are always going to have guns. Make all the laws you want. It's not going to get them off the streets any more than it has drugs. My biggest concerns in this debate are #1, I want as much freedom as the Constitution and Bill of Rights allows me , and #2, I want the freedom to choose to not be at a disadvantage with the bad guys when it comes to firepower. What the Democrats are pushing now serves only as a step to limit my right to protect myself, my family, my property, and other innocent lives.
This is good stuff. Whenever non-religious people go off on this tangent I LOL. "Holiday" literally means "holy day." What makes the "Holidays" holy? Without the "holy" there would be no holiday. Also, for centuries Christians abbreviated the name of Christ with the Greek letter Chi, which looks like our letter "X." So, I'd like to wish all of you a Merry X-mas and Happy Holidays. It all points to Christmas, and what Christmas is really about--whether people realize it or not.

Irony... on my screen next to the squawk, there's an ad regarding babies born in 2012.

Ever listened to a police scanner? If you haven't, you won't see the need most likely.

I don't think the Mayans accounted for our leap year. I think we should've been destroyed a few years ago. Wait.... it happened in 2008...
