This is a "we don't need it and we can't afford it, so let's borrow money, increase our outflow which ain't coming in, spend a lot of money to pay "consultants", raise our sales tax and get it done. Typical politician thinking.
Great article. It brought back memories to one who experienced the values and quirks of true fishing cars. Thanks for the article.
All of this is typical of the way Bobby Petrino treats people. His unmitigated self serving actions, such as sneaking away from the Falcons in the middle of the night one day after assuring team owner Arthur Blank that he had no intrention of leaving the Falcons, his attempts to get Auburn to fire their head coach and hire him, and accepted the offer to coach Arkansas, while still under contract to the Falcons and without notice to Auburn. Then he placed having sex with a woman half his age above any family values he might have had.
He lied to his bosses, his wife, his family, and the police investigating his accident.
Oh what an honorable man he is.
It seems that racial issues are far more important than the education of our children.
Did you notice the difference in the managers during last nights game? The Astro manager was seriously watching every play while the Braves manager looked like
he had other things on his mind. Our new third baseman has to go. He has shown why he was unloaded by the Reds.
At Phoebe the term "internal investigation" is now used because it sounds better than using the more truthful term "cover up"
How in the world can they quarrel over spending 10 million dollars to build one new bridge across the river but are seemingly in favor of spending 90 million dollars to build another bridge over the same river?
We all know that projected costs are a bare minimun to get things rolling and the actual cost will be several million over the projected cost.
LuLu....You remember the real Al Sharpton much more accurately than Mr. Wright does.
And we seem to think that dumb action by our politicians and courts is a modern thing.
This lady gives an excellent description of what teachers face daily, and what makes teaching in our schools such a difficult job. She sounds like a good and truthful teacher.
