President O'bama was NOT elected to be criticized and be talked bad about by the media and others. However, if anyone were to compliment him....who could believe it?
I would think that one would have to be careful and not fire too many teachers because there are not a lot of good teachers beating on the door trying to get into the DCSS. Fire a few and hope that it lights a fire under the rest of the slackers. Recruiting good teachers to come here will be difficult.
The dust has not yet settled from the loss of taxpayers money in the Cutliff Grove mistake. Now here we are considering giving money for another housing project?
If indeed Albany does not have a panhandling law on the books, then it would seem panhandlers have the right to go into any and all businesses and ask customers for money. There must be some law somewhere on the books to fix this problem.
May her soul Rest In Peace. Amen.
Terry, I know this comment is days after the original post BUT... if the superintendent decides not to renew certain teachers, who will be the replacements? I have to think that there are NOT huge crowds of teachers wanting the chance to teach in Dougherty County! This is going to be a tough fix.
I bet there are still a bunch out there who think "the government" is going to provide Obama care for free. Sorry I couldn't help to be sarcastic.
Back in the 1880's there was a notorious "robber baron" Jay Gould as I recall. One of his quotes go something like this. "The old, the poor, and the infirm should suffer their fate quietly, get out of our way and die." He was I believe eventually deported for bribing nearly half of congress, however the meaning of his quote is shared by many today by aborting the "unwanted", killing off the "sick" and the "old". History is merely repeating itself.
Amen Granny, it is a joy to do business with them.
Friar, this is one of the most enlightening squawks I have seen for a long time. Good job sir.
