There still exists in The Old World a dying minority of literate journalists who appreciate sarcasm and satire as valid forms of humor. Be careful with sarcasm though. Nothing can travel faster than light in a vacuum.
On the serious side, bulldozing Washington and New York does sound like a great idea.
