I like the idea of naming Gordon Park after Mr. Johnson. We could call it the "Johnny Johnson Softball and Sports Complex". The city spent $3 million fixing it up and people come from all over SW Georgia to use it.
there is a lesson here for everyone including the City of Albany, we can overcome adversity and make this City one we can all be proud of.
My question is who was able to sell 7.5 acres in Albany for $392,000? Follow the money. I don't think Pike or Marietta should be held responsible since they came in after the money was long gone.
the GOP owns the House and they did spend the big bucks to get it!
who the heck is the "real iko? Kaosinalbany - we know you are the weekly publisher - but who cares? I wish Marietta had run for Mayor - he gets it!
Hubbard was the winner of that "debate" - everything White and Fletcher want - Hubbard has already taken steps to accomplish
the bridge has to be commissioned for Veterans first
My question to Don Cole is "In 2009 your company borrowed $385,000 in SBA stimulus funds from the Obama Administration. First did you pay it back? Second, did any of that money go to non-citizens or their companies? Lastly, if you did not pay it back - doesn't that make you a hypocrite?"
write a note to Olive Garden and tell them they are welcome in Albany:

Marietta is the best Commissioner we have and has very good leadership skills that is why we all asked him to run for Mayor. Maybe in 4 years he will be ready.
