I cannot believe that cap, hats and trucks are even an issue in todays world. DoCo leads the state in everything wrong, children are under educated, there are no job prospects in this area for the new HS graduates, and I have not seen any new industry move into this area in decades. Every major corporation leaves. BUT, someone wearing a cap or hat indoors incites concern.

Who cares if someone wears a cap/hat indoors at a fastfood restaurant. What does it matter if I wear mine in Wal-mart? Simple minded people find simple minded problems to be concerned with and that is all caps and hats are.

Sometimes I feel these people need to grow up or grow a pair and focus on what really matters in this day and age. Educate your children above the HS level, Send them to Universities and earn MASTERS degrees, focus on bringing in industry to keep this area alive, focus on medical care and costs, focus on the criminal elements that permeate the city and county governments. Focusing on Caps and hats is a person with their head in the sand and not facing the real issues.

Wow! All this because of cancelled fireworks! Budget woes for the military extend well beyond cutting community events. Combat training is being minimized or even stopped. Ships are not going to sea. Beans, bullets and Band-Aids are being cut. Massive amounts of personnel will be released from active duty and our enemies are taking on attack postures. Stopping a fireworks show is nothing in the overall scheme of things.

Where is you uproar over Benghazi, the IRS, or Obama denying . Col. Davis is doing the best he can, but with his budget cut, 4 criminalinvestigations and assets being returned from Afghanistan fireworks just don't mean a thing.

Never grow, under educated, keep everything the same as the 1960s, stereotypes of the south mentality. Albany is dying a slow death because of this attitude.

NO one has ever claimed that the Lee county commission is intelligent! 2 surveys say combine and yet they wish to spend 49k of my tax money for yet a third. Is this a we need 3 estimates type of thing. Combining Fire and EMS only make sense for the people of Lee County. The days of specialization are over and have been for a while.

I will bet the duty roster will have people assigned to the ambulance for the shift and then others assigned to the truck companys and rescue and everyone not just performing willy nilly. That way an amublance can be toned out or the truck company can be toned out or both if dispatch deems required, and yet each can help out on scene if required. Fire can perform EMS duties in a multi casualty scene and EMS can help at a fire scene if it escalates. Sounds like a good decision to merge.

Most of those wearing the saggy pants and such will not live to see 30. Thug life ends early.

What idiot could possibly compare the Smithsonian Museum(s) in washington D.C. to a rinky dink museun of a woman who no longer calls Albany home. This will be yet another eye sore to the Albany Area, dedicated to people with a small claim to Albany, that will lose tens of thousands of dolllars and then ask for bailout by the city. RQ, Civic center, ACRM. If Paula Deen wants it, let HER fund it, maintain it, and oversee it's daily operation. She does have the money after all.

There has to be more to this than is being reported. The trucks have to be loaded by someone. That means load sheets should have been generated and then signed off by who ever loaded the trucks. Who loaded short and did not report it. Where is the over sight by the DLA command. This should lead to termination of the Command Staff for dereliction of duty. What command give complete control to low level supervisor and does not do any audits. In any military organization the commanding officer is ultimately responsible and this clearly proves this command staff as derelict.

How come we never read what the sentences are that are handed out. Michalle Rodriquez was to be sentenced 25 April and nothing in the news. Shelby Janes was to be sentenced and nothing in the news. Please give us the whole news on these Criminals.
