The County AD doesn't schedule the games. The region schedule is set at the region coaches meeting. All non region games are scheduled by the team coach. The county AD takes the submitted schedule and coordinates with the officials association and other paid entities including school resource officers that will work the games. Coaches are solely responsible for the no. of games they schedule.

The County AD dors not approve or disapprove the schedule. His job is to look at the submitted schedule and coordinate with the officials association and other paid entities including school resource officers that will work the games. I believe the nadas would gladly give up a few dollars for home court advantage. It might be cramped, hot and sweaty, but it's home for Monroe. That's what they played the regular season for.

What does Seabrooks have to do with with Monroe and Westover forfeiting games for overscheduling? Sounds like the coaches scheduled too many games to me.

If stand your ground offers the proyection you suggests then why is GZ being prosecuted? Also even if he is not convicted Travon's family can still file a wrongful death civil suit. People in states that have "stand your ground" are being misled into believing that they can shoot anyone for almost anything and play the "stand your ground" card like a joker in bid whist.

I agree with you in that GZ was the one who initiated the confrontation that ultimately led to Martin's death. What I don't understand is why is there a need to rename a law that already exists.

I don't understand the law in the first place. Even if there was no " Stand Your Ground" I believe that all citizens still have the right under law to defend themselves from death or serious bodily harm even to the point of deadly force. I don't see a need to add anything to that.

I could never figure out how we allowed Wal-Mart to come to that area in the first place. A little research would have revealed that almost every business within eyesight of Wal-Mart will close soon after a Wal-Mart moves in because more than likely Wal-Mart is selling everything they sell in one location at the same price or lower. The businesses that do well near a Wal-Mart are the ones that are established after the Wal-Mart opens. Those businesses will usually feed off of the customers generated by Wal-Mart. The shopping centers where Harvey's and Winn Dixie are located will soon be like a ghost town.

I believe that all US citizens should have the right to the means of self protection. But personally, I would feel safer if some citizen from half way across town didn't have the capacity to hit my house while defending his. Personally, I prefer the remington m870 and a semi-automatic handgun or revolver loaded with hollow points. That way when I miss I stand less of a chance of killing my neighbors. I do need a magazine capacity of at least 15 rounds for my semi-auto handgun though.
