Cask and Kilt was advertised on local radio stations, Fox 31 and the online blog Albany Uncovered. There was plenty of advertising.
The food was horrible. I tried to eat there on several occasions and each time my food was cold and inedible. The owner was present on one occasion and promised she would make my order herself. I never saw the food. There were different staff each time I went there. The venue to have local music besides country was awesome. Rock and roll in Albany was alive again. They did do one thing right by booking good, local music.
I am wondering if I was at the same event the people that have commented above were at. I saw a very small crowd all 3 days. I was very disappointed and would have asked for a refund of the $85 I paid for my 3 day pass.
This is a music festival where there will be music from different genres. Everyone needs to stop being negative and look at the financial impact this event will have on the community not only in hotel revenue, increased sales for food, gas, etc. If you aren't sponsoring, maybe you should keep quiet on someone the finances of someone else. I look forward to this event!!! Good job Sam!!!
