What will happen with the QU office? It's an asset that should belong to the creditors. Remember that the Phoebe Foundation donated the land for it.
Anyone on the Hospital Board with integrity needs to step up now. It's not supposed to be Wernick's decision about the future of North. Be a man and do your job.
There's nothing stopping any and all churches from following these ideas. Seriously, why don't you bring it up to the pastor or your Sunday School class? I'd like to think that most churches are already smoke free, but there is a lot of room for reflection and progress re the healthy eating in most churches.
Umm, are there any heavy people in your church? Does the church have ridiculously unhealthy dinners? Jesus was not a glutton. Churches shouldn't have to be encouraged to do the right things for their parishioners, but apparently they do.
Gosh, it's hard to be against using a very small amount of money to encourage large groups of churchgoers to reform their unhealthy habits. Changing their behaviors will likely lead others to do the same. All those people will be healthier and thus reduce healthcare costs. Ruby and Eric, what have you done for humanity lately?
What a wonderful mission and results! Keep up the good work!
Where will this be based? The old office should belong to the creditors now. The Phoebe Foundation gave the land, rather than using that resource for poor sick people.
Do you remember the property that the Phoebe Foundation gave QU to build their office? (The Phoebe Foundation that is supposed to be caring for sick people.) That's an asset that the creditors should be able to go after. QU shouldn't be able to transfer assets to Quail Albany when QU owes money.
Senator Scott wasn't elected, he was appointed. Those who set him to Washington did it for rather cynical political purposes.
Yes, thank you Mr. Maschke. Your service did make a difference, and is very much appreciated. Best wishes! Hope that other well-qualified people continue to step up for the community.
