If need be, I'll go down defending my faith[scriptures in the Holy Bible(King James Version)]. Too often I am seeing far too many name bearers of "Christians" acting like those of the world. Their appetite is never satisfied with that which this world has to offer and which they gladly accept. We must always remember the vice in which Satan and his demons employ to subvert the faithful, the word in which belie many is stratagem of Satan and his cohorts.
Though PhilB posted his opposition to Albany Herald editorial staff of the event concerning the "meeting" that was held concerning the citizens of Statesboro Georgia back in September, upon reading his response as to why and how things proceeded running up to the meeting and in my opinion, making a vain attempt to justify why he and the others were operating with clarity, they were in fact operating in obscurity. If Mr. B has settled this in his mind that he and others were anything but dishonest in their "intent to deceive" then how can he see the light when he refuse to examine the issue fairly when he has deceived himself. From the things he put in his response to AH-editorial staff, it is clear to me that he and others were running a "ruse".
I'm not at all sure he has one, maybe he has sold it to the highest bidder!
Okay, so Mrs.Cushman has a wonderful story to tell of her life and of her father's. The facts remain that her father is less than honest on a host of issues, i.e. he railed against those that had ties to "Fannie and Freddie" while he was on their payroll as well. My take is we can not nor should we make an attempt to re-write history and I find such people that have this character flaw a little more than troubling.
Mr. Regan you may "spin" Mr. Cain troubles any way you care to but the facts remain: 1. If settlements were made to the women that alleged Mr. Cain acted inappropriately, then I do not believe the allegations are "baseless" or without "merit" as you seems to believe. 2. Mr. Cain had more than ample time to form a defense to the "allegations" before they hit the news wire, he nor anyone from his campaign staff did. 3. When Mr. Cain came forward with an explanation, it was weak and changeable by him. In conclusion if you are planning on a run for anything publicly, then you had better be ready for your past actions to be combed with a fine tooth comb, as it should be.
Wow! I read with interest the point you was making concerning the author take on "Islamic law greatest threat to women", however, I really must take exception to your last sentence of men are dogs everywhere, to make such a statement is beyond pale of being incorrect since you do not know "every" man, in the future it would be best to say "all the men I know" or "some men".
Right-on supersquawker, when people begin to frown on wrong doing no matter where or who it involves then true justice will begin to take shape.
Mr. Paterno had a chance of leaving the sport in which he did an admirable job for many years, but he failed miserably in not handling the issue that caused his career to come to an end that will always be marred by his handling of the incident at Penn State.
Thank you officer Fleming and family for you dedication in trying to eradicate the criminal element from our community. Now, the citizens of Albany and the country had better get even more serious about teaching, training up these youngsters at an early age on respecting people and their property, in fact, some of us might want to brush up on our morals as well. Whether its your son or daughter or any other member of your family and I am including myself in this analysis as well, to uphold wrongness or to turn a "blind-eye" to the things they engage in thats not lawful, just will not stand. Period. Let's do better and become a better people from our endeavor in this struggle.
Congress along with the residence of the White House (present and past) stopped working for the good of the people a long time ago, if they ever did. President Obama only became a "fighter" when he observed his approval numbers were dropping like the temperature in late October. The Republicans being rooted in a mandate they feel the people gave them in the mid-term election of 2010, are bent on remaining like a cess-pool and so here we are, grid-locked tighter than a mouse in a trap. Will things get better? Not likely, prepare to enter into the abyss.
