I was born in this town 48 years ago. I have seen it go thru some hard times, but when the welfare takers began to choose our leaders, it was the beginning of the end, Hubbard may the the end.
She's better off selling hamburgers because she is making a profit when she sells those burgers. What are you profitting from that check you get every month
BJ Fletcher did not lose tonight, Albany did. When the front page of the paper on election day shows another of our past elected officials being charged with theft, how can anyone except the bottom of the barrel people vote for any of them? I am a Christian, as BJ is, and I know that if God's will had been for BJ to get elected, she would have. For Hubbard to win tells me that God has decided that Albany is not worth saving. It was first Sodom and Gommorahh, and now Albany. This town will die a slow painful death under the leaders that we have.
BJ did go to college, I had some classes with her. She had not been to school in 30 years, but she passed two anatomy classes with high marks when the rest of us were having to repeat it over and over. In another class, she actually out taught the teacher, and she finally decided she could go back to running a business and putting people to work, college was not something she needed to be successful. I think she was right.
