Ward IV Commissioner Roger Marietta has received a certificate of recognition from the University of Georgia and the Georgia Municipal Association for completing 42-hours worth of elected-officials training.
Not only did the Darton professor and now two-term city commissioner complete the training, he says that it will help him in the classroom.
"The GMA/UGA training courses not only help me be a better Commissioner but also improved my teaching of Political Science courses at Darton College".
All of Marietta's students can address their hate mail to the Georgia Municipal Association 555 Marietta Street, Atlanta, Ga.
Congrats commissioner.

Thank you Roger for devoting your time to improving the Commission's knowledge base. ....... ....... JD have any other Commissioners completed similar courses?
