So you want your country Back

I Will have my say

Mr. Balch and others like him, seems to suffer from memory loss, or better yet, he has selective memory. For many decades, Congress of these United States gave subsidies [welfare] to large farms and companies that did not need it or deserve it. To point a finger at the President and charge him with being a socialist is as inaccurate as most right - wingers think they have the answer for all Americans. The truth of the matter is, the Republicans along with some Democrats, have sold us a bill of goods, that is no-good. To suggest, one may pull themselves up by their boot-strap, is a myth that has been over played, thanks to Congress, right-wingers and Tea - Partiers most Americans are without boots or straps. To say you want your country back, allow me to remind one and all; it's our country.

As a man of faith,I have to realize that no leader just happens to get put into authority. God used evil leaders to punish the rebellious Israel until they recognized from where they had fallen. I believe the USA is under God's judgement. If the USA continues to suffer under this president, it may very well be because we have not been punished enough yet, for turning our backs on Him, and why the colonists came here in the first place, and why our Founding Fathers were so adamant that America would be a country where Christ could be worshipped freely, without the yoke that had been placed on their necks by the Church of England.

If you, OldGraybeard, think the Almighty is punishing America through this or some other president; think again. The people of this nation as well as other nations, find themselves in the predicament they are in by the choices they make, whether in the voting booth or having a bone of laziness. We are what we have chosen to become.

Isn't Congress still giving subsidies to large farms and companies? Did you ever read a report by the Cato Institute on Archer Daniels Midland. They concluded that ADM is the largest recipient of corporate welfare in the United States and had been in bed with the Bush administration (both of them) and were very comfortable bedfellows. I guess the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas. Nothing is ever going to change as long as politicans can be bought and as long as there is a politician in DC they will be bought. Money talks and BS walks. Oops there goes another load of BS..and who is that I hear talking....oh it must be money.....

agirl, you are so right. Our leaders are more worried about the laws they put on us,than following them there self.It is a shame to know there is so much corruption out there. But what is more of a shame is that we tend to dismiss the things our leaders do wrong.Excuse me,but if i am to follow a law,the ones who made it need to follow it also.People always stop talking when it is about corruption of our leaders, that is why they keep getting away with it. I was amazed when i done a search on corruption in Albany Georgia. They know it is here, but who is doing anything about it.I try,but i am only one person.I think we should make our leaders answer to the same laws they put on us.Where is all the upset over Officals being corrupt? Now that is something to March about. And it would be for everyone, not one set of peoples.
