Authors and celebrities alike are giving kids a new perspective on their favorite books using live streams. From actors such as Josh Gad and Jennifer Garner to authors like David Williams and Oliver Jeffers, parents and kids can tune in to watch as they read classic children's books and their personal favorites.
Save with Stories
In partnership with Save the Children and No Kid Hungry, Save with Stories was started by actresses Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams, who are offering stories being read by the celebrities on Instagram and Facebook.

The Brooklyn Public Library is offering virtual programming via Facebook Live broadcasts and Zoom meetings. Its virtual story hour airs weekdays at 11 a.m. EDT.
LeVar Burton Reads
The "Reading Rainbow" icon is offering children and young adult reading sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. Burton has made the readings available on Twitter with the children's session broadcasting at noon EDT on Mondays, and young adult sessions at 6 p.m. EDT on Wednesdays.
