Halloween is a fun-filled holiday for kids and parents. Although Halloween will be different this year because of the coronavirus pandemic and because many families will choose to limit trick-or-treating, there are still many ways to celebrate the spooky holiday. Here are a few Halloween podcasts for kids to get them in the spirit of the holiday.
Unspookable

Elise Parisian hosts this family-friendly podcast that looks at the histories and mysteries behind well-known scary stories, myths and urban legends. Parisian discusses topics such as Bloody Mary and ouija boards to find the stories behind the scares. Recent episodes include "Spiders and Arachnophobia," "Book of the Dead" and "Kraken."

The Creeping Hour

Hosted by the Creeps (three friends who have listened to numerous scary stories), this podcast is a horror anthology series. Episodes include "The Beat," "Perfect Teeth" and "Big Shoes."

Revenge of the Creeps ... and Other Scary Stories

Written by then-6-year-old scary story-obsessed author Natalie, this 10-episode podcast features stories for kids who love the feeling of getting scared from spooky stories. Along with sharing her stories, Natalie shares her experiences of visiting haunted places across the U.S. Episodes include "The Gift of Evil," "The Drive-In" and "Over The Hedge."
