The collective stupidity of our City Commission voting down the solar field because of noise is almost equal to Hank Johnson thinking the island of Guam may tip over and capsize if they add additional servicemen.
I’ll vote for Roger Marietta all day, every day before I vote for some entitled bozo.
I thought a law was passed years ago that members of the KKK could no longer cover their faces with hoods. How is it that the Antifa thugs are seen at every demonstration with their face masks on? The ones that attacked and injured the conservative reporter in Oregon this week all had on face masks.
Yesterday morning I was watering the plants on my front porch and an APD patrol car came down the street. Last night, I was in my studio painting and an APD patrol came down the alley, spotlighting backyards. Thank you, APD. Keep it up!
With all the agencies in our government that need funding, Trump thinks it is a good idea to have taxpayers pay for his ridiculous July 4 debacle. His narcissism knows no bounds.
“Thanks for the explanation about rope-smoking. It must be hard being the smartest person in existence” That describes your arrogant self, not me. At least we have tables at my house instead of a feeding trough. You’re mad because you’re a doper. Closing on 70, and I’ve never touched illegal drugs. Can you say the same? If you were 1/10 as smart as you think you are, you wouldn’t have had to have it explained.
I wonder how people who have so much can ignore those who have so little.
Three years since Lee County leaders announced they were going to build a hospital and still no funding, no operator and no groundbreaking. When are taxpayers and the local media going to start demanding answers about what’s really going on? The truth is out there.
Some people create their own storms, then get mad when it rains.
I read with interest Carlton Fletcher’s editorial in the paper Sunday. Is it a lack of understanding that the commission would vote to keep businesses away when these businesses would bring tax money in? Property taxes in Albany are higher than homes in Florida on the beach. I would like to hear an explanation. It’s wonderful that Mr. Marietta picks up garbage, but that has nothing to do with our high property taxes.
That’s OK, Stoyle, keep blowing your horn, because no one else will. Oh, and you’re right, I probably wouldn’t like you in person.
It’s disheartening to think that Ol’ Bone Spurs is turning the D.C. Fourth into another rally to feed his insatiable ego.
Will Durst’s column in Sunday’s paper was spot on. Here is some context: Adolf Hitler: “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Donald Trump, in ‘The Art of the Deal’: “You tell a lie three times, they will believe anything. You tell people what they want to hear, play to their fantasies, and then you close the deal.”
Let’s face it, folks: There is no supernatural god loving and protecting us from evil. When innocent children are tortured and murdered for no reason at all, no merciful god would allow that. We are on our own.
