It was a busy night on Thursday for the Albany Museum of Art. Three exhibitions, "Figure Forward" with works from Jill Frank, Jaime Bull and William Downs, "Fragments of a Violent World" with work from Michael Oliveri and "Educators as Arts," a juried college faculty exhibition. All three exhibits will run until October 12. Museum patrons, staff and trustees also got to celebrate the retirement of Executive Director Paula Williams and tune in for the special announcement that thanks to a donation from the Robert N. Brooks Sr. family, the museum will be moving downtown to what was formerly the Belk department store on Washington Street.
