Area health departments to close on Thursday

ALBANY – Southwest Georgia health departments will be closed on Thursday while the agency holds staff development and training.

“All 14 Southwest District county health departments, programs, services and clinics will be closed to allow staff to participate in daylong enrichment, wellness and training activities,” the agency said in a news release. “We apologize for any inconvenience.”

All facilities will reopen to provide services during their next regularly scheduled business hours.
