Carolyn Crow Butler, 92, of Camilla died Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9 at Camilla United Methodist Church with private family interment at Oakview Cemetery. Rev. Ken Myers and Rev. Keith Goodlett will officiate.
Born July 28, 1926 in Camilla, GA, Mrs. Butler was the daughter of the late Alva Estese Crow, Sr. and Mary Lucy Battle Crow. She was married to the late Jim B. Butler, Jr. and was also preceded in death by siblings, Alva Crow, Jr. and Nina Waters and three great grandchildren, Trey Stowers, Ava and Sadie Hale. Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and a member of Camilla United Methodist Church. She loved her God, her family and friends, and everyone she met.
Survivors include three daughters, Dena Stowers (Rob) of Auburn, AL, Pat Hale (David) of Roswell, and Jenny Evers (Randy) of Albany; six grandchildren, Robert Stowers (Laura), Daniel Stowers (Lana), Chris Hale (Heather), Jenna Hale Venghaus (Tim), Carolyn Evers, Cole Evers; five great grandchildren, Drew Stowers, Parker Stowers, Ruben Hill, Anna Stowers, and Hazel Hale; her most cherished faithful friend, James "Bro" Silas; and her devoted caregivers, Gloria Silas, Hattie Drakes, Catherine Brown, and Mary Frances Dennis.
Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, before services, at Camilla United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camilla United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 192, Camilla, GA 31730 or Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
