Irma Ruth Crouch
Irma Ruth Hardy Crouch, 88, of Albany, died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening, June 3, 2019 at Kimbrell-Stern from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Dr. Keithen Tucker will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Milton “Bubba” Rooks, Wallace Crouch, Casey Granato, Buster Haddock, Lindsey Adams and Doug Rainwater.
A life long native of Albany, Ms. Crouch enjoyed spending time with her friends, traveling, baking cakes and loved her dogs.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Annie Hardy and her sister, Annette Gay.
Survivors include her daughter, Mildred Crouch Burruss and her husband, Stanley of Albany, a son, Gene Crouch and his wife, Ramonda of Wedowee, AL; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Haddock and her husband, Buster, of Damascus, GA, Milton “Bubba” Rooks and his wife, Jenny, of Locust Grove, GA, Ellen Adams and her husband, Lindsey, of Savannah, GA, Wallace Crouch and his wife, Stephanie, of Savannah, GA, Stephanie Granato and her husband, Casey, of Kennesaw, GA and Melanie Rainwater and her husband, Doug, of Bixby, OK; 11 great grandchildren, Carter Haddock, Braden Rooks, Emma Adams, Wylie Adams, Nolan Crouch, Langley Crouch, Ansley Granato, Grace Granato, Samantha Rainwater, Abby Rainwater and Kailey Rainwater. Also included is a special niece, Gigi Gay of Naples, FL.
The family would like to give extra special thanks to her caregivers and staff at Phoebe Hospice, ResCare Home Care and Maggie Brown, who was with Ms. Crouch for many years.
