Jarrod Sims, 38, of Colquitt, plead guilty Wednesday to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon before U.S. District Court Judge Leslie J. Abrams in Albany. The federal government expected evidence to show that on May 8, the Colquitt Police Department discovered a rifle in Sims’ vehicle during a lawful traffic stop for suspected impaired driving.
