A day after announcing No. 13 West Virginia was postponing its scheduled game for Tuesday night vs. No. 2-ranked Baylor, the Big 12 Conference announced the next two scheduled home games for the Mountaineers against TCU on Jan. 16 and Oklahoma State on Jan. 18 have also been postponed.

According to a statement released by West Virginia's associate athletic director Bryan Messerly, the postponement is in response to the Mountaineers' inability to meet "the required COVID-19 thresholds" established by the Big 12.

Additionally, the statement said West Virginia will work with the Big 12 Conference, TCU and Oklahoma State to reschedule the games.

The next matchup for West Virginia (9-4, 2-3) is set for Jan. 23 at Kansas State.

--Tuesday night's scheduled Southeastern Conference game between No. 10 Tennessee and Vanderbilt has been postponed.

In a statement, Vanderbilt said a combination of positive COVID-19 tests, contact tracing and quarantining forced the postponement.

The two schools were scheduled to play twice this week: Tuesday on the Commodores' home court in Nashville and Saturday in Knoxville. No announcement has been made about the weekend game.

This is the fifth postponement or cancellation for the Vanderbilt (4-5, 0-3 SEC) program. The Volunteers (9-1, 3-1) have been canceled or postponed six times.

--The Richmond Spiders paused activities in response to the latest COVID-19 testing results and contact tracing.

The team said no decisions have been made about upcoming games.

The Spiders (9-3, 3-1) are currently in first place in the Atlantic 10 Conference. They defeated then-No. 10 Kentucky on Nov. 29 for the program's first-ever road victory against a top-10 opponent.

Richmond's next scheduled game is Saturday at home against VCU. The Spiders have had four games either postponed or canceled.

--Duke announced that assistant coach Chris Carrawell and freshman forward Henry Coleman III did not travel with the team for Tuesday night's Top 25 ACC showdown against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

"Both are ill, continue to test negative for COVID-19," the team posted on Twitter.

The No. 19 Blue Devils (5-2, 3-0) will also be without senior forward Patrick Tape due to a back injury, while freshman forward Jalen Johnson (foot) is a game-time decision against the No. 20 Hokies (9-2, 3-1).

--The American Athletic Conference announced that Wednesday's matchup between East Carolina and Cincinnati has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 case and the ensuing contact tracing of student-athletes at Cincinnati.

Information regarding rescheduling is yet to be determined.

The Bearcats (3-7, 1-4) are scheduled to host Tulane on Saturday at Fifth Third Arena, while the Pirates (7-3, 1-3) are at home Saturday vs. Temple.

--No. 22 Oregon announced it has paused all team-related activities this week because of COVID-19 protocols.

The Ducks (9-2, 4-1 Pac-12) were scheduled to host Arizona State on Thursday and Arizona on Saturday. In a statement from the school, Oregon said it would announce information regarding rescheduling the contests when dates were finalized.

There was no word on whether the duration of Oregon's "pause" would impact the Ducks' makeup game vs. UCLA that is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 19. That game had been originally scheduled for Dec. 23 but was postponed due to COVID-19 testing protocols among the game referees.
