Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

A fuss-free pie that tastes like a Hershey bar? Um, yes, please! This luscious chocolate icebox pie is so easy, even the most novice pie maker can do it and look like a total pro.

Ingredients

Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Pie Crust, softened as directed on box SAVE $
cup whole milk
oz Hershey’s® milk chocolate bar (about 4 1/2 1.55-oz bars)
1/4 cup water
tablespoons corn starch
can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
large eggs
teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped cream, for topping
Extra chocolate bar pieces, for topping

Steps

1. Heat oven to 450°F. Fit pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and bake according to package instructions for a one-crust pie. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, add milk and 7 oz Hershey’s® milk chocolate to a small pot and melt over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scalding. Do not simmer.

3. In a medium bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch. Then add sweetened condensed milk, eggs and vanilla. Slowly pour hot melted chocolate into this mixture, whisking constantly.

4. Transfer chocolate mixture back to medium pot and place over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3-4 minutes until mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

5. Carefully pour chocolate pie filling into your baked crust and let cool at room temperature for 10 minutes.

6. Transfer pie to the fridge to cool completely (at least 4 hours). Serve topped with whipped cream and extra chocolate bar pieces.
