I went down Broad Avenue Thursday morning at about 11. There must have been close to 100 cars lined up awaiting the opening for the latest free food giveaway. Lots of fine late-model cars. So I got to wondering why all of these folks lined up for free food and not for work? Albany

Has anyone ever seen someone use the pedestrian crossover bridges on Oakridge, Slappey or Oglethorpe? Another totally foolish waste of taxpayer money, just like the huge amounts spent on trying to revitalize downtown or the monthly check the city writes to keep the downtown Hilton Garden Inn open.

Some deranged Democrat lawmaker wants to take the Statue of Liberty down. If you are unhappy with the Statue of Liberty, then move to another country.

Hey, potty mouth, I was clearly referring to the U.S. Army chain of command. Maybe you should have learned to read in OK.

Fani drops the race card as a defense for getting caught stealing from the state of Georgia. When will her grand jury be convened? Never. Equality Man, do you think she should get a pass for being a black woman?

This one is easy, Trumpster: As a Democrat, I do not worship newscasters, news outlets, or those who are the subjects of news events. I worship Christ. Can you say the same?

Not only are our commissioners and mayor unwilling to admit that their weak polices welcome freeloaders to thrive in Albany to the detriment of us taxpayers, they also lack the courage or wisdom to make the hard decisions to change course like Columbus, Athens or Greenville all have.

Come on, you don’t need a Ouija board to figure this one out. Kemp is at Davos because he can use those trips as foreign policy experience when he runs for president in 2028.

When the role is called up yonder … I’m willing to bet Heard and Gaines won’t be there.

Some say the Republican party was the law-and-order party. They still are. They are for subverting the law and fomenting disorder.

You people who make everything about race and who cry “racism” about any criminal who happens to be black (i.e. Heard, Gaines, Fani Willis): Guess what? We have one set of laws. When black people break those laws, charging them is not racist. You, on the other hand …

I don’t know, Scott. Citing one like Eric Swalwell as an opinion authority on anything other than breaking wind on a hot mic is a stretch.

I would like to make Untruly, also known as Yours Truly, aware that a white woman by the name of Ronda Stryker just gave Spelman College, an HBCU, a $100 million gift. This is the largest gift ever given to any Historically Black College or University. What do you say, YT?

Here we go again: A new $15.6 million warming center at the Southwest Regional Airport. The management of local elected officials is not very impressive.

Our city has a prevalent litter problem, and many of us taxpayers pick up garbage daily. The fact that our commissioners, mayor, and police chief have done nothing new in years to combat the issue tells you everything you need to know about their aloof incompetence.
