Albany State to add master’s-level program in athletic training

ALBANY — On the day that Albany State University President Marion Fedrick announced her plans to leave the Albany HBCU to take a dual position at Georgia State University and with the University System of Georgia, she announced a new master’s degree program at the university.

“We’re always looking to add programs that are relevant to our students’ future,” Fedrick said. “We’re excited to add a master’s degree program in athletic training. That’s an area many of our students are interested in pursuing.
