Dougherty County Police release surveillance photo from convenience store robbery

ALBANY — The Dougherty County Police Department has released a photo taken during the armed robbery of the Circle K convenience store at 2336 Liberty Expressway Thursday morning.

The image, taken with store surveillance equipment, showed the robber entering the Circle K around 2:04 a.m. Thursday.

The suspect is described by DCP as a black male, armed with a handgun, who was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a mask. He took cash from the register and then left the scene on foot, walking toward Nelms Road. No injuries were reported.
