Dougherty County School Board to host public hearings on Morningside Elementary

ALBANY — The Dougherty County Board of Education will hold two public hearings regarding the proposed conversion of Morningside Elementary School at 120 Sunset Lane to the Morningside Early Childhood Education Center (a pre-kindergarten facility).

The hearings will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the downtown Albany-Dougherty Government Center, Room 100, at 222 Pine Ave.

The public is encouraged to attend one or both of the hearings.
