ALBANY – Phoebe Putney Health System is once again partnering with Albany State University and other local organizations to host the 2024 Maternity Expo, “It’s All About You, Baby!”

The event will take place on Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Albany State University West Campus, located at 2400 Gillionville Road in Albany.

This expo is designed to support expectant mothers and families by providing crucial information on safe infant sleep practices, mental health, self-care, and nutrition. The event also will feature infant CPR demonstrations, local child care resources, and much more.

Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and registration will close at 10 a.m. The first 100 participants will have the chance to win door prizes, participate in raffles, and take advantage of giveaways provided by vendors.

“We are so excited to host this event again this year and provide mothers and families with the resources and support they need to take good care of themselves and their babies,” Angie Barber, the director of Phoebe’s Network of Trust, which is organizing the expo, said. “This expo is a wonderful opportunity for families to gain valuable knowledge and connect with local experts, and we would love all new moms and expectant mothers to join us.”

The event is free, but attendees are encouraged to register in advance. For vendor inquiries or more information, call (229) 312-4620.
