ALBANY — To encourage reading for pleasure as well as improve their literacy skills, comprehension, and memory, students at Radium Springs Elementary have been participating in the Accelerated Reader program, including taking online quizzes on the books they have enjoyed.
Jakayla Warren has been proclaimed Radium’s top school reader. Jakayla read 52 books during the past nine weeks. She received a reading certificate, a certificate to Buffalo Wild Wings and a snack box.
