Summer camps continue at Chehaw

ALBANY — Chehaw Park and Zoo is in the middle of its weeklong half- and full-day camps for children ages 4-12, which will continue through Aug 6.
Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, activities, snack, a Chehaw water bottle, and a cool camp T-shirt. Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.
Full-day sessions are open to campers ages 5-12. Half-day sessions are open for campers age 4. After-camp care is available until 6 p.m. for $10 per day or $40 for the entire week. Members receive a 10% discount on all camp sessions plus half price on after-camp care. Participants who register one camper for four camper sessions will receive $50 in savings.

ALL SMILES PROGRAM:
June 28 @ 10 a.m.
All Smiles Programs are the fourth Friday of every month and are designed specifically for children with special needs. This is a multisensory program where live animals, photographs, skills, models, pelts, and more are used to engage children and demonstrate concepts. This program utilizes a sensory motor approach, and children are encouraged to touch, smell, and feel all appropriate items. This program is for all ages and functioning levels. Each program includes a story time, craft, zoo trip, and meeting an animal ambassador up close.
