TIFTON — Area residents can honor or memorialize family and friends at Tift Regional Medical Center’s main courtyard through a tax-deductible contribution to the hospital foundation’s “Give a Gift, Leave a Legacy” program.

“There are numerous giving opportunities, including the purchase of bricks and benches in the courtyard outside of the newly-constructed tower at Tift Regional Medical Center,” Mandy Brooks, executive director of the Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation, said in a news release. “This is the main hub of the hospital and is a visual piece of art to the community. This is a unique way of honoring or remembering a special someone while supporting the mission of the hospital. These special gifts will touch the lives of many and will last a lifetime.”

Brooks said there are different giving levels with options to purchase various-sized bricks for the courtyard’s walkway. Other options include adopting a tree in the courtyard’s garden or sponsoring picnic tables, park benches and more.

“We invite people in the community to leave a lasting mark and unchanging legacy of their own by personalizing a brick or taking advantage of our other courtyard sponsorship options,” Brooks said. “This is open to individuals, families, groups, businesses and organizations. The bricks and other opportunities are great gift ideas for family and friends and are a special way to recognize TRMC heritage.”

“To local residents — this is your community and your hospital, so please consider participating in this unique way of giving,” Brooks said. “We appreciate your support of our vital health care institution.”
