Albany police charge 12 suspects in reported gang fight that left four with gunshot wounds

ALBANY – The Albany Police Department has filed additional charges against suspects in a Saturday fight that left multiple victims with gunshot wounds.

The four victims were shot after two sets of “gangs,” which police identified as members, associates and their affiliates, got into a fight outside Big Daddy’s Lounge at 300 E. Broad Ave.

The four shooting victims were in stable condition, police said.

Charged in the incident were Decarlos Walker, 25; Donavian Smith, 22; Shannon McLloyd Jr., 22; Corey Redding, 25; and Malik Marshall, 26. Each was charged with aggravated assault, four counts of firearm violation and affray

Rasheed Moore, 22; Roderick Antonio Moore Jr., 28; Antonio Spann, 29; Johntavious Strum, 32; Roger Antonio Farmer Jr., 34; and Nakabian Loud, 26, each was charged with affray

Gevontae Walker, 20 was charged with aggravated assault and four counts of firearm violation.

More arrests are expected, police said.
