ALBANY — EMC Engineering Services Inc. recently announced the promotion of Brian H. Braun, the business’ Albany Branch Manager, to owner.

EMC Engineering Services is a consulting engineering firm headquartered in Savannah, with production offices located in Brunswick, Statesboro, Augusta, Atlanta, Albany, Valdosta and Columbus. EMC offers a wide range of environmental, civil, marine, survey and construction management services to municipalities, governmental agencies, industries, commercial investors and developers in the Southeastern United States.

Braun has worked in the civil engineering community since 2001, and has 17 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined EMC in July 2013. He is a registered professional engineer and a 2001 graduate of Mercer University with a bachelor of science degree in Engineering with environmental specialization.
