Dispute in Albany motel room turns deadly

ALBANY — A man shot multiple times during a dispute with a woman at an Albany motel was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday morning, according to Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler

Fowler identified the victim as Jeremy Robinson, 37. The shooting occurred at the Superior Creek Inn, 2505 N. Slappey Blvd., at around midnight.

“There was an altercation and he was shot multiple times,” Fowler said.

On Wednesday morning, the Albany Police Department announced that Victoria Soto, 31, was arrested and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in the case.

More arrests are expected, police said.
