ALBANY — State House District 153 Rep. Camia Hopson, who recently completed her freshman year in the state Legislature, will host a town hall meeting Saturday to give constituents a legislative update.

Hopson, who ousted Darrel Ealum to claim the House 153 seat, will discuss the bills both passed and voted upon in the General Assembly during her first year in office. She will answer citizens’ questions and offer her take on how the legislation passed during the year will impact southwest Georgia and the rest of the state.

The gathering is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the downtown Law Enforcement Center at 201 W. Oglethorpe Blvd. The public is encouraged to attend the event.
