ALBANY — The Valdosta Wildcats (15-5) outscored the No. 8-ranked Lee County Trojans (13-3) 22-10 in the fourth quarter Monday night and took home a 60-46 win as part of the MLK Classic at Monroe High School.

The teams were neck-and-neck the entire first half, with the Wildcats edging ahead 25-23 at the half. Valdosta hit four three-pointers in the final quarter.

The Trojans were playing without junior Ousmane Kromah.

Josiah Parker led Lee County with 12 points, while Brayden Moore and Matthew Hardwick added 11 each.

Eric Love led Valdosta with 18 points. Jabarri Williams scored 12, and Isreal Jenrette added 10.

The Trojans will play at Northside Warner Robins on Friday night and then host Thomas County Central in Leesburg on Saturday.
