Braden Moore’s MVP performance leads Top Five basketball performances of the week in Albany, GA area

The top five high school basketball performances this week in the Albany, Georgia area:

Braden Moore, Lee County, 20 points and the game-winning three-pointer against Monroe. Lee County beat Monroe, 58-56 with that three-pointer.

Jatiana Chambers, Dougherty, 30 points in a 63-52 win over Haoeville Charter.

Jasiyah Suber, Calhoun County, 28 points in a 71-59 win over Mitchell County.

Taylor Mckinzay, Monroe, 36 points in two games against arch-rivals Lee County and Westover. Her threes gave Monroe the chance to win both games.

Wykeria Holmes, Westover, 15 points against No. 7-ranked Monroe, including three straight second-quarter threes to thwart Monroe’s rally.
