LEESBURG — The parade of college football coaches coming to Lee County continued this week and culminated Friday with a visit from the University of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

“Thank you to Kirby Smart for coming by to recruit out student-athletes this (Friday) afternoon,” said Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio.

Smart is just the latest in Power Five head coaches to make the trip to Lee County High School to visit with Fabrizio and the nation’s number three-rated running back in the class of 2025 — Ousmane Kromah. University of Florida Head Coach Bill Napier and University of Tennessee Head Coach Josh Hepal were also in Leesburg this week among a host of other college coaches.

These coaches included Georgia Southern’s Clay Helton, Georgia Tech offensive line Coach Nathan Brock, Coach Burk from Kennesaw State, and assistant coaches from James Madison University, the University of South Carolina, Georgia Military College, the University of Southern California, and Columbia University.

More coaches are expected to visit Lee County this coming week.
