PREP FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Ousmane Kromah’s huge night lifts Lee County to 68-49 win over North Miami Beach

Lee County’s football team overcame five turnovers and more than 150 yards in penalties Friday night to win a wild game 68-49 over North Miami Beach (Fla.).

Running back Ousmane Kromah rushed for 313 yards and three touchdowns, racking up the majority of Lee’s more than 400 rushing yards and nearly 500 total yards. The freshman has 95 carries for 1,097 yards (11.6 per carry) and 11 TDs on the season.

Willie Williams had a 90-yard kickoff return TD and also had a TD catch, one of three from quarterback Chris Martin. Julius McClennan Jr. added 80 rushing yards and two scores.

Cook 56, Worth County 41

Worth County fell 56-41 in a football matchup at Cook on Friday.

Worth’s Chip Cooper completed 23 of 39 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to rushing for 31 yards and another score. Mackenzie Daniels had eight catches for 162 yards and two scores, Parker Weaver caught seven passes for 30 yards and a score and Cameron Marshall had five receptions for 47 yards.

Tman Toomer rushed six times for 62 yards and a TD, and Keonis Williams added five rushes for 30 yards and a score.
