LUMPKIN, Ga. — The Terrell County Greenwave were able to use their ground game to charge past Stewart County 43-8 Friday night.
They improved to 4-3 on the season and 4-2 in Region 1-A play. The Greenwave only ran two passing plays the entire night and 100 percent of their touchdowns were rushing. Terrell jumped out to a 20-8 lead at the half and coasted from there.
Defensively, the Greenwave were able to keep Stewart County out of the end zone the entire second half with Nick Brown coming up with the lone interception on the night.
