Top Five high school basketball performances of the week in the Albany, Ga. area

The high school basketball season is in full swing in Albany and southwest Georgia, and here are five performances from the past week that stand out:

1) Alex Harris, Sherwood Christian, 38 points in a 64-39 win over Grace Christian;

2) Jatiana Chambers, Dougherty, 26 points and 12 assists in a 74-46 win over Cairo;

3) Ciarra Lunsford and Kie’Aundria Acree, Monroe 24 points and 23 points, respectively in a 59-55 win over Bainbridge;

4) Josiah Parker, Lee County, 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 56-48 win over Peachtree Ridge;

5) Dallas George, Calhoun County, 23 points in an 80-66 win over Savannah.
