Fourteen girls soccer players from Albany made the All-Region 1-AAAA Team selected by the region’s coaches.
Both Westover’s Skye Johnson and Monroe’s Saniah McDuffie led the way as first-team selections.
The second team featured Westover’s D’eira Pace and Kennedy Boone, as well as Monroe’s Avi’yonna Carter. The honorable mention list included Monroe’s Kyla Atkins, Kenyari Sawyer and Nyla Dudley, Westover’s Kaiya Conway, Jada Clark and Baylee Addison and Dougherty’s Shaniya Laury, Kathia Hernandez-Andrade and Mikayla Mathis.
